Welcome to the new Huygens II Benchmarking Server28 June 2006CEC2006 Huygens Probe Competition now open. Additional benchmarking sequences have also been added. In particular there are shorter sequences (100 probes per landscape) which may be useful for testing the benchmarking facilities more quickly. There are also benchmarking sequences allowing comparison of younger landscapes (10-series) with older landscapes (30-series).23 June 2006Following requests by users a "wrapper" client class has been provided for compatability with the old Huygens I client. There have been some issues with the database that hopefully have been resolved, but will require further monitoring. Aplogies to those whose sessions have been cut short when I have had to "reboot" the service. This is necessary to deploy upgraded versions of the software. I have now added a warning banner to the web pages for when this occurs. 22 June 2006The Java client source and API are now available. 21 June, 2006A new client is now available that supports both training and benchmarking. This client uses a standard (more informative) format for all method calls, and can be downloaded from the Downloads page. The old Huygens I site should now be considered deprecated.
